Maryland High School Basketball - Quince Orchard tops Poolesville
February 8, 2022: Poolesville, MD 20837 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Quince Orchard Cougars (Gaithersburg, MD) and the host Poolesville Falcons (Poolesville, MD), saw Quince Orchard's basketball squad knock off Poolesville by a tally of 50-42.
With the victory, Quince Orchard improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Whitman (Bethesda, MD) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 12. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 11-6. Whitman lost 72-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Blair (Silver Spring, MD)
Next up, the Falcons play the Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 11. Poolesville will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a 0-13 record after their 81-41 non-league loss to Northwest (Germantown, MD).
