California High School Basketball - La Jolla Country Day overwhelms Foothills Christian
December 14, 2022: El Cajon, CA 92020 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the La Jolla Country Day Torreys (La Jolla, CA) and the host Foothills Christian Knights (El Cajon, CA), saw La Jolla Country Day's basketball squad wallop Foothills Christian by a count of 89-32.
With the victory, La Jolla Country Day upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Torreys travel to Bishop's (La Jolla, CA) to play the Knights in a Coastal challenge on Friday, December 16. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Bishop's won 73-49 in their recent league challenge against Army-Navy (Carlsbad, CA)
Next up, the Knights play the Central Spartans (El Centro, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 19. Foothills Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 59-45 non-league loss to Palm Desert (Palm Desert, CA).
