Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Gateway holds off Woodland Hills
December 14, 2022: Monroeville, PA 15146 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Gateway Gators (Monroeville, PA) and the visiting Woodland Hills Wolverines (Pittsburgh, PA), saw Gateway's basketball squad hold off Woodland Hills by a tally of 57-51.
With the victory, Gateway improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Laurel Highlands (Uniontown, PA) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 22. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 4-0.
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Kiski Area Cavaliers (Vandergrift, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 3 challenge, on Thursday, December 29. Woodland Hills will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record.
