Illinois High School Basketball - Prospect overwhelms Saint Viator
December 14, 2022: Mt. Prospect, IL 60056 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) and the visiting Saint Viator Lions (Arlington Heights, IL), saw Prospect's basketball squad wallop Saint Viator by a tally of 65-40.
With the victory, Prospect improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Knights host Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL) to confront the Grenadiers in a Mid-Suburban - East challenge on Friday, December 16. The Grenadiers come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Elk Grove lost 52-23 in their recent league challenge against Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL)
Next up, the Lions confront the Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 15. Saint Viator will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Scouts come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 51-30 league loss to Libertyville (Libertyville, IL).
