The Glenbard West Hilltoppers basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Saint Viator Lions to 28 in the Hilltoppers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hilltoppers now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wheaton-Warrenville South for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 4. Glenbard West will face a Tigers team coming off a 43-26 non-league loss to Taylorville (Taylorville, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-12.

With the defeat, Saint Viator moves to 6-10 on the year. The Lions host Carmel (Mundelein, IL) to face the Corsairs in a East Suburban Catholic match on Thursday, January 5. The Corsairs enter the match with a record of 12-3. Carmel won 55-23 in their recent non-league match against Hyde Park (Chicago, IL)
