Mississippi High School Basketball - Alcorn Central crushes Kossuth
December 14, 2023: Glen, MS 38846 Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kossuth Aggies (Kossuth, MS), 72-36 in a league bout.
With the victory, Alcorn Central upgrades its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Biggersville (Corinth, MS) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 3-0. Biggersville won 68-53 in their recent league bout against Wheeler (Wheeler, MS)
Next up, the Aggies play the Walnut Wildcats (Walnut, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Kossuth will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 93-77 non-league loss to Saltillo (Saltillo, MS).
