New Jersey High School Basketball - Beloved Community Charter crushes University Academy Charter
December 14, 2023: Jersey City, NJ 07305 Beloved Community Charter Owls (Jersey City, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host University Academy Charter Generals (Jersey City, NJ), 76-39 in a league bout.
With the victory, Beloved Community Charter upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Owls host Newark Vocational (Newark, NJ) to play the Eagles in a Freelance bout on Friday, December 15. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Newark Vocational lost 56-41 in their recent league bout against Marion P. Thomas (Newark, NJ)
Next up, the Generals play the Henry Hudson Admirals (Highlands, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. University Academy Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Admirals come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 64-36 non-league win over Perth Amboy Vo-Tech (Perth Amboy, NJ).
