December 14, 2023: King, NC 27021 The White Plains Christian Patriots basketball team (Mount Airy, NC), was overwhelmed 72-47 in Thursday's league battle with the host Calvary Christian Cougar (King, NC)
The Cougar now possess a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salem Baptist Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, December 15. Calvary Christian will battle a Vikings team coming off a 67-29 non-league loss to Gospel Light Christian (Walkertown, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 0-7.
The Patriots (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Level Baptist Academy (Stokesdale, NC). The Conquerors come into the NCCSA A East Region 3 battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, Oak Level Baptist Academy was overwhelmed by Westover Christian Academy (Danville, VA), 69-22, in a non-league battle.
