Kentucky High School Basketball - Cordia ripped by Jenkins
December 14, 2023: Jenkins, KY 41537 The Jenkins Cavaliers basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Cordia Lions to 23 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Twin Springs for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Jenkins will meet a Titans team coming off a 54-49 non-league loss to Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA). The Titans record now stands at 2-2.
The Lions (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lee County (Beattyville, KY). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Lee County triumphed over Jackson City (Jackson, KY), 59-49, in a non-league contest.
