The Sun Valley Vanguards basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Great Valley Patriots to 37 in the Vanguards league triumph on Thursday.

The Vanguards now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Academy Park for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Sun Valley will battle a Knights team coming off a 61-54 non-league win over Renaissance Academy (Phoenixville, PA). The Knights record now stands at 3-1.

The Patriots (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Harriton (Rosemont, PA). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Harriton ran past Penncrest (Media, PA), 48-45, in a league contest.
