In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Mitchell Tigers basketball team scored a good 51-31 triumph over the Hemingford Bobcats.

In their next game, the Tigers meet the Alliance Bulldogs (Alliance, NE) in a C1 District 12 match, on Friday, December 15. Mitchell will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 67-47 non-league win over Torrington (Torrington, WY).
