Nebraska High School Basketball - Omaha North tops Lincoln Southwest

Omaha North Vikings (Omaha, NE) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks (Lincoln, NE), 62-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Omaha North upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Omaha Central (Omaha, NE) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 5-1. Omaha Central won 74-65 in their recent non-league bout against Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA)

Next up, the Silver Hawks play the Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE) in a A District TBD bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Lincoln Southwest will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 67-56 league loss to Westview (Omaha, NE).
