In Friday's non-league outing, the Omaha North Vikings (Omaha, NE) basketball squad beat the host Gretna East Griffins (Gretna, NE), by a margin of 58-42.

The Vikings (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Westview (Omaha, NE). The go into the A District TBD outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, Westview defeated Benson (Omaha, NE), 60-57, in a league outing.

The Griffins now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Burke for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 9. Gretna East will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 80-37 league win over Buena Vista (Omaha, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
