Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Gretna East Griffins (Gretna, NE), 67-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Omaha Central upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE) to play the SkyHawks in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The SkyHawks come into the bout with a record of 9-3.

Next up, the Griffins play the Columbus Discoverers (Columbus, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Gretna East will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Discoverers come into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 58-51 non-league win over Hastings (Hastings, NE).
