In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Malad Dragons basketball team scored a good 66-50 triumph over the North Gem Cowboys.

In their next game, the Dragons meet the Ririe Bulldogs (Ririe, ID) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 19. Malad will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 2-3 record after their 69-66 non-league loss to Teton (Driggs, ID).

With the defeat, North Gem moves to 3-3 on the year. The Cowboys host Mackay (Mackay, ID) to meet the Miners in a non-league match on Friday, December 15. The Miners enter the match with a record of 3-2. Mackay lost 61-52 in their recent non-league match against Challis (Challis, ID)
