New Jersey High School Basketball - Ocean City nips Wildwood Catholic
December 14, 2023: Ocean City, NJ 08226 Ocean City Raiders (Ocean City, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Wildwood Catholic Crusaders (North Wildwood, NJ), 66-61 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Ocean City upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Raiders host Holy Spirit (Absecon, NJ) to play the Spartans in a Cape/Atlantic - National bout on Sunday, December 17. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Holy Spirit lost 57-30 in their recent league bout against Atlantic City (Atlantic City, NJ)
Next up, the Crusaders play the Salem Rams (Salem, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Wildwood Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 67-56 non-league win over Woodbury (Woodbury, NJ).
