Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the West Florida Jaguars (Pensacola, FL) and the visiting Pensacola Tigers (Pensacola, FL), saw West Florida's basketball squad hold off Pensacola by a tally of 53-48.

With the victory, West Florida improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Pine Forest (Pensacola, FL) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Pine Forest lost 37-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Niceville (Niceville, FL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Escambia Gators (Pensacola, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Pensacola will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 71-58 non-league loss to Tate (Cantonment, FL).
