Oklahoma High School Basketball - Quinton can't hold off Vian
December 14, 2023: Vian, OK 74962 The Vian Wolverines basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Quinton Savages to 42 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Thursday.
The Wolverines now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salina for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Vian will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 61-50 non-league win over Gore (Gore, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-4.
The Savages (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Braggs (Braggs, OK). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Braggs edged Chouteau-Mazie (Chouteau, OK), 60-30, in a non-league contest.
