Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Carson Senators (Carson City, NV), 55-18 in a league bout.

With the victory, Spanish Springs upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Galena (Reno, NV) to play the Grizzlies in a bout on Thursday, December 21. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Galena lost 57-48 in their recent non-league bout against McQueen (Reno, NV)
