Washington High School Basketball - Issaquah nips Newport - Bellevue
December 14, 2023: Issaquah, WA 98027 Issaquah Eagles (Issaquah, WA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Newport - Bellevue Knights (Bellevue, WA), 55-50 in a league bout.
With the win, Issaquah upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Eagles host Eastlake (Sammamish, WA) to play the Wolves in a bout on Saturday, December 16. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Eastlake lost 71-54 in their recent league bout against Mount Si (Snoqualmie, WA)
Next up, the Knights play the Mount Si Wildcats (Snoqualmie, WA) in a challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Newport - Bellevue will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 71-54 league win over Eastlake (Sammamish, WA).
