December 14, 2023: Annapolis, MO 63620 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the South Iron Panthers (Annapolis, MO) and the visiting Bunker Eagles (Bunker, MO), saw South Iron's basketball squad overcome Bunker by a tally of 57-43.
With the victory, South Iron improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Macks Creek (Macks Creek, MO) to play the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Sunday, December 17. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Macks Creek won 66-20 in their recent league challenge against Humansville (Humansville, MO)
Next up, the Eagles play the Viburnum Blue Jays (Viburnum, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 18. Bunker will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Blue Jays come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 43-36 non-league loss to Bismarck (Bismarck, MO).
