Millard West Wildcats (Omaha, NE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Elkhorn South Storm (Omaha, NE), 62-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Millard West upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Gretna (Gretna, NE) to play the Dragons in a A District TBD bout on Saturday, December 16. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Gretna won 52-40 in their recent league bout against Burke (Omaha, NE)

Next up, the Storm play the Papillion-LaVista South Titans (Papillion, NE) in a A District TBD bout, on Saturday, December 16. Elkhorn South will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 57-31 league win over Buena Vista (Omaha, NE).
