December 14, 2023: Wanaque, NJ 07465 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Indian Hills Braves (Oakland, NJ) and the host Lakeland Regional Lancers (Wanaque, NJ), saw Indian Hills's basketball squad hold off Lakeland Regional by a tally of 51-50.
With the victory, Indian Hills improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Ridgefield Park (Ridgefield Park, NJ) to confront the Scarlets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Scarlets come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Ridgefield Park lost 52-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Ramsey (Ramsey, NJ)
Next up, the Lancers confront the NV - Demarest Norsemen (Demarest, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Lakeland Regional will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Norsemen come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 56-19 non-league win over Pascack Hills (Montvale, NJ).
