Indiana High School Basketball - Linton-Stockton tops Shakamak
December 14, 2023: Linton, IN 47441 Linton-Stockton Miners (Linton, IN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Shakamak Lakers (Jasonville, IN), 39-26 in a league bout.
With the victory, Linton-Stockton upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Miners host Mitchell (Mitchell, IN) to play the Bluejackets in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Bluejackets come into the bout with a record of 1-14. Mitchell lost 68-26 in their recent non-league bout against Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN)
Next up, the Lakers play the Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Shakamak will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Bluejackets come into the bout with a 1-15 record after their 55-21 non-league loss to Linton-Stockton (Linton, IN).
