The Linton-Stockton Miners basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host Clay City Eels to 33 in the Miners league victory on Thursday.

The Miners now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Owen Valley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Linton-Stockton will battle a Patriots team coming off a 60-48 league loss to Brown County (Nashville, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 4-8.

With the defeat, Clay City moves to 4-7 on the year. The Eels host North Central (Farmersburg, IN) to meet the Thunderbirds in a Southwestern Indiana match on Monday, December 11. The Thunderbirds enter the match with a record of 6-4. North Central won 64-37 in their recent league match against White River Valley (Switz City, IN)
