The North Central Thunderbirds basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Clay City Eels to 39 in the Thunderbirds league victory on Monday.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marshall for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 13. North Central will battle a Lions team coming off a 60-28 league loss to Richland County (Olney, IL). The Lions record now stands at 1-10.

The Eels (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Parke Heritage (Rockville, IN). The Wolves come into the non-league contest with a 10-3 record.
