Maroa-Forsyth Trojans (Maroa, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Riverton Hawks (Riverton, IL), 75-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Maroa-Forsyth upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Blue Ridge (Farmer City, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 3-6. Blue Ridge won 29-28 in their recent league bout against Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL)
