December 16, 2023: Mt. Pulaski, IL 62548 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans (Maroa, IL) and the host Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers (Mt. Pulaski, IL), saw Maroa-Forsyth's basketball squad hold off Mt. Pulaski by a count of 48-43.
With the victory, Maroa-Forsyth upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to South Fork (Kincaid, IL) to play the Ponies in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Ponies come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. South Fork lost 57-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Illini Central/Greenview (Mason City, IL)
Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals (Warrensburg, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Mt. Pulaski will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 59-48 non-league loss to South Fork (Kincaid, IL).
