In Thursday's non-league outing, the Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Monmouth Academy Mustangs (Monmouth, ME), by a count of 46-24.

The Falcons (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Region (Naples, ME). The Lakers go into the B South outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Lake Region was crushed by Wells (Wells, ME), 42-39, in a league outing.
