Madison Bulldogs (Madison, ME) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME), 52-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Madison upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Falcons play the Poland Knights (Poland, ME) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Mountain Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 33-24 non-league loss to Waynflete (Portland, ME).
