Oakfield-Alabama Hornets (Oakfield, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pembroke Dragons (Corfu, NY), 47-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Oakfield-Alabama upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Hornets host Letchworth (Gainesville, NY) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-4.
