Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Douglas Tigers (Minden, NV), 78-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Reno upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Huskies travel to Carson (Carson City, NV) to play the Senators in a bout on Saturday, December 16. The Senators go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Carson lost 53-41 in their recent league bout against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV)

Next up, the Tigers play the Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Douglas will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Miners go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 62-38 league win over Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV).
