In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles basketball team scored a close 39-33 triumph over the Lawrence-Nelson Raiders.

The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sutton (Sutton, NE). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Sutton nipped Heartland (Henderson, NE), 56-28, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Shelton Bulldogs (Shelton, NE) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. Lawrence-Nelson will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
