In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Circle Thunderbirds basketball team scored a good 55-40 triumph over the Parsons Vikings.

The Thunderbirds (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Winfield (Winfield, KS). The Vikings go into the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail III contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Winfield was topped by Valley Center (Valley Center, KS), 73-57, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings confront the Labette County Grizzlies (Altamont, KS) in a Southeast Kansas contest, on Friday, December 20. Parsons will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
