Texas High School Basketball - Weatherford thwarts Granbury
December 14, 2024: Weatherford, TX 76087 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX) and the visiting Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX), observed Weatherford's basketball team knock off Granbury by a score of 69-58.
The Kangaroos (16-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilmer-Hutchins (Dallas, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, Wilmer-Hutchins dropped by Pinkston (Dallas, TX), 47-27, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Pirates battle the Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Granbury will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 45-38 non-league win over West Plains (Amarillo, TX).
