Texas High School Basketball - Weatherford overwhelms Del Rio
December 26, 2024: Del Rio, TX 78842 The Weatherford Kangaroos basketball team scored 75 points and limited the host Del Rio Rams to 31 in the Kangaroos non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Kangaroos now have a 18-2 record. They play next when they host Burges for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Weatherford will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 72-48 non-league loss to Ysleta (El Paso, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-10.
With the loss, Del Rio falls to 3-15 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Midland (Midland, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 8-11. Midland won 47-42 in their recent non-league game against Big Spring (Big Spring, TX)
