December 14, 2024: Faribault, MN 55021 The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf Trojans (Faribault, MN) and the visiting Iowa School for the Deaf Bobcats (Council Bluffs, IA), observed Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf's basketball team knock off Iowa School for the Deaf by a score of 35-17.
The Trojans (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Kansas School for the Deaf (Olathe, KS). The Jackrabbits come into the Freelance challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Kansas School for the Deaf prevailed over Iowa School for the Deaf (Council Bluffs, IA), 41-10, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Wisconsin School for the Deaf Firebirds (Delavan, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 14. Iowa School for the Deaf will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Firebirds come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 67-25 league loss to Grace Christian Academy (Greenfield, WI).
