December 13, 2024: Faribault, MN 55021 In Friday's non-league test, the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf Trojans (Faribault, MN) basketball squad got by the visiting Wisconsin School for the Deaf Firebirds (Delavan, WI), by a final score of 37-32.
Next, the Trojans clash with the Iowa School for the Deaf Bobcats (Council Bluffs, IA) in a Great Plains Deaf test, on Saturday, December 14. Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Bobcats come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 41-25 non-league loss to Sidney (Sidney, IA).
The Firebirds (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Kansas School for the Deaf (Olathe, KS). The Jackrabbits come into the non-league test with a 1-3 record.
