Illinois High School Basketball - Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf trounced by Illinois School for the Deaf
February 6, 2025: Jacksonville, IL 62650 Illinois School for the Deaf Tigers (Jacksonville, IL) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf Trojans (Faribault, MN), 60-36 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Illinois School for the Deaf advances its record to 9-8 on the year. The Tigers travel to New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM) to meet the Roadrunners in a non-league match on Friday, February 7. The Roadrunners enter the match with a record of 6-10. New Mexico School for the Deaf lost 69-47 in their recent league match against Cimarron (Cimarron, NM)
The Trojans now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wisconsin School for the Deaf for a non-league match on Friday, February 7. Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf will meet a Firebirds squad coming off a 41-39 league win over Academy of Excellence (Milwaukee, WI). The Firebirds record now stands at 6-12.
