Illinois High School Basketball - Lyons nips Neuqua Valley
December 14, 2024: LaGrange, IL 60525 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Lyons Lions basketball team scored a close 70-63 triumph over the Neuqua Valley Wildcats.
The Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Juarez (Chicago, IL). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Juarez nipped Douglass (Chicago, IL), 82-26, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the St. Patrick Shamrocks (Chicago, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 21. Neuqua Valley will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Shamrocks go into the contest with a 7-1 record after their 76-34 non-league win over Larkin (Elgin, IL).
