Indiana High School Basketball - Monroe Central holds off Wes-Del

The Monroe Central Golden Bears basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Wes-Del Warriors to 61 in the Golden Bears league triumph on Saturday.

The Golden Bears now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Muncie Burris for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Monroe Central will confront a Owls team coming off a 81-43 non-league loss to Lapel (Lapel, IN). The Owls record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Wes-Del falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Wapahani (Selma, IN) to confront the Raiders in a Mid-Eastern game on Friday, December 20. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 5-0. Wapahani won 68-50 in their recent non-league game against Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN)
