The Monroe Central Golden Bears basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Union Rockets to 25 in the Golden Bears non-league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Bears now have a 17-6 record. They play next when they travel to Seton Catholic for a non-league game on Saturday, March 8. Monroe Central will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 61-30 non-league win over Blue River Valley (Mt. Summit, IN). The Cardinals record now stands at 15-10.
