The Union Rockets basketball squad (Modoc, IN), was outscored 54-34 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Randolph Southern Rebels (Lynn, IN)

With the victory, Randolph Southern advances its record to 4-4 on the year. The Rebels travel to Winchester Community (Winchester, IN) to meet the Golden Falcons in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 11. The Golden Falcons enter the battle with a record of 6-4. Winchester Community won 68-34 in their recent league battle against Union City (Union City, IN)

The Rockets now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blue River Valley for a Mid-Eastern battle on Tuesday, January 14. Union will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 68-37 non-league loss to Shenandoah (Middletown, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 1-9.
