With the victory, Slidell advances its record to 10-6 on the year. The Greyhounds host Chico (Chico, TX) to face the Dragons in a 2A Region II District 13 match on Friday, December 20. The Dragons enter the match with a record of 10-8. Chico won 63-54 in their recent non-league match against Archer City (Archer City, TX)
The Indians now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holliday for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. Nocona will face a Eagles squad coming off a 69-44 non-league win over Borger (Borger, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.
