Georgia High School Basketball - Marist nips Creekview
December 14, 2024: Atlanta, GA 30319 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Marist War Eagles basketball team scored a close 50-46 triumph over the Creekview Grizzlies.
The War Eagles (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cherokee (Canton, GA). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Cherokee nipped Etowah (Woodstock, GA), 58-40, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Grizzlies battle the Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA) in a AAAAA Region 6 contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Creekview will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Chiefs go into the contest with a 4-6 record after their 55-49 league loss to Pope (Marietta, GA).
