The Edgewood Cougars basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Ross Rams to 40 in the Cougars league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Centerville for a non-league contest on Monday, January 3.

The Rams (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Taylor (Cleves, OH). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Taylor knocked off New Richmond (New Richmond, OH), 58-45, in a non-league game.
