New Mexico High School Basketball - Hatch Valley overwhelms Animas
December 15, 2022: Animas, NM 88020 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hatch Valley Bears (Hatch, NM) and the host Animas Panthers (Animas, NM), saw Hatch Valley's basketball squad wallop Animas by a tally of 63-34.
With the victory, Hatch Valley improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Bears host Clovis Christian (Clovis, NM) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Clovis Christian won 72-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Hondo Valley (Hondo, NM)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Mountainair Mustangs (Mountainair, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 17. Animas will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 45-36 non-league win over Carrizozo (Carrizozo, NM).
