California High School Basketball - Corona holds off Patriot
December 15, 2022: Jurupa Valley, CA 92509 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Corona Panthers (Corona, CA) and the host Patriot Warriors (Jurupa Valley, CA), saw Corona's basketball squad hold off Patriot by a tally of 48-45.
With the victory, Corona improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host La Sierra (Riverside, CA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. La Sierra won 57-45 in their recent non-league challenge against West Valley (Hemet, CA)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Chaffey Tigers (Ontario, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 26. Patriot will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 62-56 non-league win over California School for the Deaf-Riverside (Riverside, CA).
