The Freedom Eagles basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Potomac Falls Panthers to 51 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Osbourn Park for a Cedar Run contest on Friday, December 16. Freedom will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 72-50 league loss to Battlefield (Haymarket, VA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-5.

The Panthers (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain, UT). The Aviators enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Cedar Valley nudged Riverside (Leesburg, VA), 69-61, in a non-league contest.
