Oregon High School Basketball - Illinois Valley trounces Rogue River
December 15, 2022: Cave Junction, OR 97523 The Illinois Valley Cougars (Cave Junction, OR) basketball crushed the visiting Rogue River Chieftains (Rogue River, OR), 76-45 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cougars (3-3) will now prepare for their test against East Linn Christian Academy (Lebanon, OR). The Eagles go into the 2A Valley Coast test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, East Linn Christian Academy was trounced by Regis (Stayton, OR), 50-46, in a non-league test.
The Chieftains now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bandon for a non-league test on Friday, December 16. Rogue River will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 59-45 non-league loss to Salem Academy (Salem, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.
